The Organisation ...

Flight Of The Phoenix World Peace 2000 is a series of projects run by the Flight Of The Phoenix spiritual community, a dedicated team of people with up to 13 years experience of working and living together for the specific purpose of furthering world peace and peace within ourselves.

No religious, cultural or political belief system is attached to our work, our sole aim is to encourage communities of all faiths and cultures to work together towards world peace and respect for our environment.

We carry out our world peace projects through what we describe as a spiritually based business based on "not for private profit" and sharing principles. By this we mean that we act in the business world as a self-funded professional organisation, but the foundations of the business are built on the deeper purpose of our projects.

We wish to promote the understanding that businesses, organisations and communities can support each other and thrive by sharing, communicating and collaborating rather than being destructively competitive.

We do this by supporting communities and organisations that take part in the projects. For example, we help with fund-raising activities for the participating organisation, and we give a proportion of any of our products purchased as a result of that fund-raising to the participating organisation.

The Team Behind the Project ...

The ideas and aims behind the project were conceived, established and developed by Pamela Pace in 1992 and officially launched to the public in 1998.

The motivation behind Pamela's work is based on the belief that, if we focus on the more positive aspects of ourselves and the world around us, we can encourage others to do the same and begin to build a brighter future for future generations to enjoy.

It is Pamela's belief that as people view their World Peace Garden®, mosaic, window, or rose bed, they will not only be touched by its beauty, but by the fact that they are linked with other communities, who have joined them in this commitment to building peace in our world.

Pamela is supported by a solid team with up to 13 years experience of living and working closely together. Her partner John Jameson is a key sponsor and fellow director. Project manager Joy O' Gorman has worked alongside Pamela Pace for 13 years, and Melinda Malins for over 9 years. A number of national and international volunteers also support our work and aims.
